Marie Haggin originally opened its doors on First Avenue in the Historica District of Kent in December 2004. Owner Debbie Marie Haggin opened the store with 250 necklaces of her own design, but Marie Haggin quickly became a showcase for one-of-a-kind gifts and jewelry by other local artists from the Seattle area. Local shoppers learned to love the luxurious hand-made soaps and jewelry and Marie Haggin became a local favorite for finding that unique gift item for a loved one or for pampering yourself.
